Are you an LHSS student who wants or needs extra academic support after school in grades 9-12 Math, Science, English, other subjects or just need help getting yourself organized/study skills? Don’t have a tutor but you could use one? Free to students of LHSS tutoring will be provided in the 1600 pod by LHSS teachers from as part of the Ontario Ministry of Education’s Tutoring support for students (recently extended until June 21).
LHSS teachers you may see tutoring in the 1600 pod Monday -Thursday 2:35-3:30 pm

You can book a time on a specific date to request to reserve a 15, 30 or 45 minute tutoring session or just take your chances that we have someone available and come down and drop in to the 1600 pod from 2:35 to 3:30 pm. There will always be 2-4 tutors staffing the 1600 pod on the dates below.
Students will need to sign in and bring their questions for tutors to help with reteaching concepts, developing understanding, and supporting the understanding of instructions and help with starting assignments. Tutors will assist students learning concepts and interpreting assignment instructions for students and help them organize and prioritize needs.
