Semester 1 Timetables – Emailed to Students

The LHSS main office has successfully emailed semester 1 timetables to students as of Thursday afternoon. Big thanks to our amazing office staff for completing this huge task so quickly!
Students should check your WRDSB email account (including your spam folder) for your schedule. NOTE – updated second semester timetables will be sent out prior to the start of sem 2 classes.
IMPORTANT – COURSE CHANGES
Please review our COURSE CHANGE REQUEST information page for details regarding this process. Students should not email your guidance counsellor to request changes as completed/signed forms are required for ALL timetable adjustments. Guidance is unable to accept change requests via email and counsellors are not available for regular guidance appointments during school startup. Where necessary, counsellors will call students to guidance to discuss timetable changes, etc.
COURSE CHANGE SCHEDULE FOR STARTUP:
- Wednesday, Sept. 9th – forms available for pickup in guidance office
- Thursday, Sept. 10th – grade 12 students may submit change request forms
- Friday, Sept. 11th – grade 11 & 12 students may submit change request forms
- Monday, Sept. 14th – all grade levels may submit change forms
- Tuesday, Sept. 15th – request forms due by end of lunch (all grades)

Student Course Change Requests

Students who wish to make a course change request for the coming school year, please visit our guidance COURSE CHANGE page for important information. Request forms will be available in the LHSS guidance office starting Wednesday, September 9th and completed forms are due by the end of lunch on Tuesday, September 15th.
- Thursday, Sept. 10th – grade 12 students may submit forms
- Friday, Sept. 11th – grade 11 & 12 students may submit forms
- Monday, Sept. 14th – all grades may submit forms
- Tuesday, Sept. 15th – forms due by end of lunch
- Guidance will continue to work through requests for the remainder of week 2 and update students via email
- School-wide events & news
- Course changes, course selections, etc.
- Special presentations & school visits (such as guest speakers, universities, colleges, etc.)
- Scholarships and awards

“CLASS OF” Google Classrooms for LHSS Students

One of Laurel Heights’ key communication tools for students is our “CLASS OF” Google Classrooms. These are setup by grade and students remain in the same class for their entire time at LHSS, with content/information customized to specific student cohorts.
