Semester 2 Startup Information

To help students and families prepare for the start of second semester,
please see information posted below!
Second semester now begins on Wednesday, Feb. 5th
(startup delayed due to weather-related cancellations & postponed exams)
- SEM 2 TIMETABLES:
- The LHSS main office plans to email updated timetables to students prior to sem 2 opening day.
- Students should check their WRDSB account during the next few days to receive your sem 2 schedules.
- If any students do not receive an emailed schedule, please come to the main office on opening day to obtain a copy.
- COURSE CHANGE REQUESTS:
- Should any students wish to request a course change for sem 2 classes, forms will be available outside guidance as of February 5th.
- Please follow form instructions and submission dates carefully!
- Students are to continue attending all currently scheduled classes until updated by guidance about the status of change requests (via email).
- Final deadline to submit change requests – Monday, Feb. 10th (by noon) – return completed/signed forms to the guidance office.
- 2025-2026 COURSE SELECTION WORKSHOPS – WEEK OF FEB. 11TH to 14TH:
- LHSS guidance staff are running grade-specific workshops all week to assist with Myblueprint course selections for next year.
- Students will come to the caf with their class for the presentation and guidance support sessions.
- Make sure to come prepared with your charged Chromebook!
- Guidance counsellors are available to meet with students to help with course planning throughout February.
- Myblueprint closes for course selections on Monday, Mar. 3rd (noon).
