SEMESTER 2 INTERIM CHECK-IN
LHSS Families, please note that teachers will be sending out our early-progress updates by email to parents/guardians sometime this week. If you do not receive an update by Monday, March 4th, please reach out to your student’s teacher directly.
SEMESTER 2 CAREGIVER OPEN HOUSE – WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6TH (5:30-7:30PM)
We also invite you to attend Laurel Heights’ Spring Open House on March 6th from 5:30-7:30 pm for LHSS families – a chance to meet/greet LHSS staff and see your student’s second semester learning spaces. Schools maps/teacher locators will be available upon arrival at the school in the main lobby.
Please note that this is not a formal Teacher/Caregiver interview night. The open house is an enhancement to the other methods of ongoing parent communication. As always, if you would like to communicate individually with a teacher or would like more information on your child’s progress, please do not hesitate to make arrangements to connect with your student’s teacher via email, Google Meet, or in person.
UPCOMING IMPORTANT SEM 2 DATES
- March Break: March 11th to 15th
- Sem 2 PD Day: Wednesday, April 10th
- Mid-Term Instructional Support Days: April 17th and 18th
- Mid-Term Report Cards: week of April 29th (at that time, grades and levels will be formally reported on the provincial report card)
