Students in Grades 7 to 12 and their families, parents and caregivers are invited to attend and learn about career options and future pathways at the Explore Your Future Career Expo.
Organized by the Business and Education Partnership (BEP) of Waterloo Region, attendees will be able to:
- Learn about local colleges, universities, and training programs that support a wide range of career goals.
- Connect with professionals from industries such as construction, advanced manufacturing, health care, technology, business, the arts, and more.
- Access agencies offering guidance and support to gain experience through employment, volunteering, or launching your own business.
- Speak with specialists in Experiential Learning and Career/Life Planning.
- Explore Apprenticeship opportunities and find out what apprenticeships are, how they work, and how to get started through the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program.
