Blended Learning Days: As indicated on our School Calendar, Blended Learning Days are on the following dates,
- Wednesday September 25, 2024
- Wednesday December 04, 2024
- Wednesday February 26, 2025
- Wednesday May 07, 2025
Secondary teachers will be engaging in Professional Development to better support student learning needs through the continued expansion of de-streaming and single streaming. For students, these days will be similar to our Instructional Support Days, where students are not required to attend in-person, but will have learning provided through the virtual classroom and meetings with their teachers. Attendance will be taken, but in-person attendance will be optional on these days.
- A supervised study space will be available in the morning for students who wish to attend.
- Blended Learning Days are instructional days.
- Attendance will be taken so students must engage online or in person.
- ACE students will attend school with regular programming and following regular attendance procedures.
- Transportation will run at regular times
Blended Learning Day Schedule:
8:20-10:55am – REMOTE/ASYNCHRONOUS LEARNING
- Students are to log-in to their virtual classroom and complete the work provided by their teachers for all of their courses.
- Plan to spend approximately 35 minutes on each course.
10:55-11:55 – LUNCH
Learning in the afternoon is REMOTE and SYNCHRONOUS. Students will be expected to be available to meet with their teacher and classes as directed by their teachers.
- 11:55-12:30 – PERIOD A
- 12:35-1:10 – PERIOD B
- 1:15-1:50 – PERIOD C
- 1:55 – 2:30 – PERIOD D
