Chromebook Returns – Graduating and Departing WRDSB Students

Dear Graduating Students & Parents/Guardians of Graduating Students,

It is hard to believe that we are nearing the end of the school year. It has been an exciting time to be a student within the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB). It was almost four years ago that every student in a grade 9 class in our school received a Chromebook for school use.

It is time for those Chromebooks to be returned!

All devices which have been provided through the Chromebook 1:1 Initiative remain the property of WRDSB. Therefore, it is expected that when a student is leaving the Board or is graduating, the device will be returned to the school. Any devices not returned will be “BRICKED” by the WRDSB and rendered useless.

Graduating students (or those leaving the WRDSB) should plan to return their Chromebook and charger in the 1st floor foyer in the morning prior to final exam. Graduating students who do not have exams are asked to return their Chromebook Wednesday afternoon (June 19th).

Final June exams are almost here. SJAM is running a special schedule on Wednesday, June 19th to accommodate grade 12 exams – see details below:

Block A: 8:30 – 9:05

Block B: 9:10 – 9:45

Block D: 9:50 – 10:25

Block E: 10:30 – 11:00

Lunch 11:00 – 12:00

12:00 Block A Gr 12 Exams

12:00-2:40 Supervised Study in Cafeteria

June 2019 Final Exams – Schedule and Info

Click button above to visit the SJAM Final Exams info page – includes updated schedule/rooms for June 2019 final exams. If you have any issues with your scheduled exams, please speak with your classroom teacher and/or VP as soon as possible.

Grade 12 students – please be aware that period A grade 12 exams are scheduled for Wednesday, June 19th starting at 12:00pm. See the updated schedule for further details. Grade 9-11 period A course exams will be written on June 25th.

Transportation Info for 2019-2020 School Year

Important update for students who rely on school buses for transportation to/from school…

Transportation details for the 2019 – 2020 school year will be available on Monday, August 26, 2019.

Parents can login and view your child’s transportation details by going to www.stswr.ca and following these easy steps:

Click on “Student Login”
Enter your child’s Ontario Education Number (OEN)
- This can be found on your child’s report card
- Numbers only, no space, no dash
Enter your child’s birth date
Enter your child’s street number
- house number only
Select the school your child is attending from the drop down menu

Please note: any address changes need to be done through your school. If you are moving this summer or change caregiver arrangements for the fall, you should communicate the change of address to your child’s school before the end of the 2018-2019 school year.
