START YOUR PLANNING

  • Talk to your teachers, guidance counsellor and parents.
  • Be sure you are meeting all your diploma requirements (can check via MyBlueprint – High School – Planner – GRAD PROGRESS) or check with your guidance counsellor.
  • Research post-secondary (college/university) program requirement to ensure you’re taking the necessary courses at each grade level – work backwards from potential post-secondary requirements:

COURSE & EXTRA-CURRICULARS FEES

Note:  There are no course fees for classes taken at LHSS. For some courses, there could be a supplemental fee for consumable materials or experiential opportunities like field trips.

In addition, extra-curricular clubs, school events and teams will have fees. We do not want fees to be a barrier from a student participating, so If you have a concern about a supplemental fee, please know there are funds available to support students. Please speak with your teacher, vice-principal or guidance counsellor.

GRADE 12 STUDENTS

If you’re planning a 5th year, you are strongly recommended to speak to your counsellor prior to selecting courses to ensure your plans line up with post-secondary pathways/goals.
