Guidance and SJAM admin are working to finalize your cohorts and classes for quadmester 1.  Students in grade 9 will be notified of their cohort and quadmester classes on Tuesday, Sept. 8th (via SchoolDay).  Students in grades 10 to 12 will be notified on either Wednesday, Sept. 9th or Thursday, Sept. 10th (via teacher contact).

Please be patient and do not rely on information currently posted to MyWay or SchoolDay – it may not be accurate and could change before your cohort/class notification this week.  MyWay also does not display cohort groups.

COURSE CHANGE REQUESTS CURRENTLY CLOSED

Final timetabling is an extremely time-consuming process that requires careful placement of students.  Guidance counsellors are still working on student schedules and some classes may have to move to accommodate course conflicts, late registrations, etc.  We are also required to adhere to strict health and safety guidelines regarding class/cohort sizes, which severely limits timetable flexibility.  For these reasons, guidance cannot accept course change requests for quad 1 classes at this time.  This includes requests to move/reorganize courses in your schedule.

Please do not email your guidance counsellor to request quad 1 switches, particularly for electives. Many classes/cohorts are already full and switching out classes is extremely difficult.  This often means reorganizing entire timetables, which can cause cohort tracking issues.

There may opportunities after startup to make course changes for later quadmesters – we will update if/when we can open up requests.
