Thanks to Our School Community.

 

As we finish the 3rd 1st day of school, and with today including all of Cohort B on site (roughly half of our normal student population of 1600 students), I wanted to express my thanks and gratitude to our students, parents/guardians and staff.

 

To students:  You were great!  I was so impressed in how 100% of our students embraced all of the Covid protocols these past three days: Masks; disinfecting; measured entry into the building; etc.  We know that this is a significant adjustment to what high school looks and feels like.  You were outstanding this week and a shining  example of what we had hoped for. I am confident that we can continue on this path with good outcomes for us all.  

 

To parents:  Thank you for your support, understanding and patience.  We will continue to use this website and School Day to communicate directly with you. Your kids were exceptional in how they embraced our new reality this week and we are so appreciative of this.  

 

To our staff:  Many thanks to the most unique 1st 3 days of school ever!  I am honoured and humbled to be a part of this team.
