“Welcome Back”

Though today marks the first day after the Winter Break, I appreciate that it is not what many of our students, families and staff were expecting, anticipating or hoping for.  This “intermission” represents a shift but, with our existing Covid Health and Safety protocols in place, I am hopeful for a school-wide return on January 25th and a return to our existing adaptive hybrid model.  Know that the systems and structures that have been in place to keep us all safe will continue to do so.  We are ready for (and looking forward to)  your return!

Students:  Your teachers will be reaching out to you today.  Moving forward, attendance will be taken in both morning and afternoon learning blocks.  Your teacher will be providing more information as to your daily schedule for your class… but know that the school-day runs its regular length –  starting at its usual 8:30 am.

Take care, Highlanders.  The building is not the same without you!  Stay engaged in your courses and with your peers online; stay safe at home; keep strong on the Covid Health and Safety Protocols in the community and looking forward to seeing you in-person soon.
