April 20th, 2021
Quadmester 4 courses will begin on Thursday, April 22nd, 2021. Teachers will be trying to connect with their new students over the next few days. Your students will receive their Quadmester 4 course information starting Tuesday afternoon and into Wednesday through their school email. Students and parents should review the information sent to the student email accounts and contact their guidance counselor if they have concerns.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, our school program will continue to be delivered electronically for all non-ACE classes until further notice.
** Please note that students receiving this email will not be physically attending school at this time but instead will be learning from home until further notice and will do so synchronously and daily regardless of their cohort (A and B both attend virtually, daily).**
Updates as to any confirmed return date will be widely communicated and will be posted at jam.wrdsb.ca. Please subscribe to this website for timely updates right to your inbox.
Textbook and other materials return: Students who have texts or other materials on loan from Q1-Q3 are asked to return their items to SJAM this week so that other students will be able to access them for their new courses. If you are leaving WRDSB/SJAM please also return your chromebook. We recognize that as we are under a stay-at-home order it is important to involve your parents in discussing the visit to the school to return items.
Students or their parent/guardian/designate may return their items to the rear parking lot/rear foyer entrance (door #3) any time between 12 pm and 3 pm on Wednesday April 21st to Friday April 23rd. Staff will supervise bins for students to put their items in. Please ensure that your name is written on the inside of the text (or on a note attached to other items) that you are returning so we can ensure it gets checked off the list of materials owing. Please prepare to wear a mask and remain 6 feet apart while on property. Masks can be provided if you don’t have one.
Regards
SJAM Administration
