A reminder to all  students who are graduating or leaving the WRSDB at the end of the school year…

CHROMEBOOKS:

• WRDSB Chromebooks and chargers must be returned to LHSS prior to the end of the school year.
• Please bring these devices to the main office on or before the last day of the school (June 24th).  You can drop these off before the exam week or on the date of your last exam.
• Grads – if for some reason you miss returning your device prior to June 24th, make sure to bring it with you when you come to pick up your diploma package in early July (more details coming soon).
• Chromebooks that are not returned will be disabled by the WRDSB IT department.

WRDSB GOOGLE ACCOUNTS:
Students graduating this semester or who are leaving the WRDSB, please be aware that your Google Drive and email accounts will be closed a few weeks after semester one ends.  You are STRONGLY recommended to back up all documents and emails to your personal drive/accounts before the end of the semester.  Apps such as Google Takeout can make the process easier (see link below).

To assist with this process, you are recommended to link your WRDSB account with a personal Google account AND ensure you are connected to strong, stable Wifi.  If you have many files/emails to backup, be warned that this process can be slow so give yourself adequate time to move your material.  AND – if you have any sites that use your WRDSB email for access, you should switch those to a personal email (such as YouTube, Canva, etc.).
