The Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) will be written Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 8:30 – 11:55 a.m. Please remind students of the items they need fully charged school issued chromebook or may want earphones, paper, a pen, and a computer mouse for the test.

The Grade 10 students will be writing in their homeroom classes and any grade 11 & non graduating 12 that still need to write will be writing in the library.  If your student is connected with Learning Services and has access to special accommodation LHSS staff has made contact with them and they will be writing with Learning Services in the available classrooms in the 1600 & 1700 pods.

There will be no formal classes following the test. Teachers will be available in designated department classrooms from 12:35 – 2:20 p.m. for any students seeking extra help.

In order to create a positive environment that will optimize the conditions for successful completion of the OSSLT, the instructional school day has been modified for all students at LHSS.
