Literacy Test (OSSLT) Reminder – Grade 11 & 12 Students

Literacy Test Reminder

If you are writing the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) this November, there is a Practice Session on Thursday, November 3 in the Library during Block A and B. You will be signed out of your classes for these periods.  Bring your charged Chromebook to the sessions.

Block A is a mandatory session to:

  • review the format of the test
  • review reading and writing strategies

Block B is an optional session to:

  • ask questions
  • get extra help with specific skills
  • write the Practice Test and get comfortable with the test format

Not sure if you have to write the OSSLT?  Check your email for a notice that you need to write the test in November.  If you were not successful on the OSSLT and did not receive an email please check in with Mrs. Wigmore in the main office.

One more reminder:  You must use a school device for the OSSLT.  Make sure your chromebook is working!
