Mind Matters Event – Wednesday, May 22nd (5-8pm)

Dear Laurel Heights Students and Families,
We are delighted to extend a heartfelt invitation to the forthcoming Mind Matters Fun Fair, a dedicated initiative focused on fostering mental health awareness and support throughout the KW Region. Not only will this event serve as a platform for promoting mental health awareness, but it will also provide an opportunity for families to come together in support of breaking stigmas surrounding mental health, while simultaneously raising funds for Jackthe.org.
- Date: Wednesday, May 22
- Time: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Location: Laurel Heights Secondary School
Key highlights you can look forward to:
- Engaging Activities: Immerse yourself in a spectrum of activities ranging from lively music and interactive lawn games to engaging school club booths, food trucks, and delightful treats like cotton candy and popcorn.
- Strengthening Community Bonds: Connect with local organizations, mental health professionals, and fellow community members to foster stronger bonds and bridge gaps between individuals and the many mental health services available.
- Advocacy for Awareness: Our primary mission is to cultivate awareness, provide valuable resources, and foster a nurturing environment for mental health issues. Let’s unite in our efforts to destigmatize mental health and champion positive representation.
