30 KM/H LIMITS ARE COMING TO SCHOOL ZONES

Good afternoon parents and caregivers!

We are sharing the following information on behalf of the City of Waterloo as it affects our school:

Safety for everyone on and near our roads is a community priority for the City of Waterloo. As part of our plan to improve road safety, we are reducing speed limits in school zones to 30 km/h this spring. Look for new 30 km/h signs and slow down in school zones. Together, we can make our roads safer for all vulnerable road users: pedestrians, cyclists, children, everyone! The next phase of this plan will include lower speed limits on neighbourhood streets. To learn more about how we are creating safe streets for all, visit https://www.engagewr.ca/speed-management
