SchoolDay and/or MyBlueprint – Possible Course Errors
Posted August 27, 2024
Students who are checking either SchoolDay or MyBlueprint for updated course information for the coming school year, please be aware that there could be some errors with what is displayed due to timing of data transfers. We are aware of some instances of repeated courses, etc. appearing. Additionally, MyBlueprint may not reflect student-made changes entered following course selections back in February/March 2024.
You will receive an accurate printed copy of your 2024-2025 schedule in your first period class on Wednesday, Sept. 4th. Please note – guidance and the main office are not able to provide printed or electronic copies of timetables ahead of opening day.

Student Course Change Requests
Posted August 26, 2024
Students requiring a change to your courses for the coming school year, please review details below (also posted to your “Class of” Google Classroom).
- Printed course change request forms will be available outside the guidance office as of Wednesday, Sept. 4th.
- No early change requests are possible due to new student registrations and final timetable processing before startup.
- Make sure you use the correct change form for your grade (colour-coded) as there are different submission dates per grade – see below (instructions will be posted outside guidance offices).
- Grade 12 Students – change requests open Thursday, Sept. 5th
- Grade 11 Students – change requests open Friday, Sept. 6th
- Grade 9/10 Students – change requests open Monday, Sept. 9th
FINAL CHANGE REQUEST DEADLINE (ALL STUDENTS) – Tuesday, Sept. 10th (11:30am)
- Make sure forms are completed in full and signed by a parent/caregiver before returning to guidance (use drop basket on Ms. Cressman’s desk in guidance office).
- Please review the posted “FULL/CLOSED COURSES” list (posted outside guidance or in Google Classroom) as these courses are not available for change requests at this time.
- Students should avoid “reach ahead” course changes requests (such as a grade 11 student requesting grade 12 courses) as these are likely not possible due to full classes and priority placement of at-grade-level students.
- Email requests for course changes will not be processed as forms/signatures are required for ALL changes.
- Guidance counsellors will notify students VIA EMAIL of the status of change requests (or call down students to guidance as required to discuss requests). Forms will be processed in the order received, but many change requests may take time to work through – please be patient.
- NOTE – guidance calendars are not open for students to book course change appointments during startup.
- Students are required to continue attending all current scheduled classes until any course changes have been confirmed, as some changes may not be possible due to full classes or schedule conflicts.

School Pick-up and Drop-off Information
Posted August 23, 2024
With the start of the new school year, we’d like to remind our students and families about our parking and drop-off/pick-up areas. To ensure the safety of everyone before and after school, please review detailed information posted here.
A few key highlights to note:
- Walking, biking and drop off in the neighbouring streets is recommended over options involving driving to and parking at the site due to high traffic volume, congestion and safety.
- The bus lanes and front entrance circle (650 Laurelwood entrance) and rear entrance (Creekside Drive entrance) are dedicated to buses only and are closed to student and parent community traffic from 7:55 – 8:40 am in the morning and 2:00 – 2:45 pm in the afternoon.
- Drop off and pickup along Laurelwood Drive and Erbsville road are not safe locations to use.
- Drivers may use the rear lower lot circle off Creekside Drive (see map below), available lower-lot spots or designated neighbouring streets for pick-up and drop-off.
- The middle and upper lots/parking spots are reserved for staff vehicles only (as per signage posted).
- There is no student parking, drop-off or pick-up in the upper or middle lots.
