IDC4UI (Interdisciplinary Studies: Student Activities Leadership, University)
Leadership rests at the center of all successful teamwork; it brings about meaningful change and growth; and sits at the core of a healthy and productive school community. To act as a leader one needs to develop a healthy sense of self and a capacity for critical thinking and reflective practice.
This course is founded on the philosophy that we are all leaders and that we all possess the potential to be great leaders. With this in mind, the purpose of this course is two-fold. First, it is to explore the concepts and theories of leadership and second, it is to put into practice effective leadership skills while planning school events and activities.
