Parents: Change in Process in Communicating Covid Case Information

We appreciate the need for families to have timely notification of any confirmed positive Covid cases in their child’s classroom.  Last year, the model employed involved individual phone calls to families.  While this ensured immediate confirmation of the receipt of information through an experience new for us all, we also appreciate that this resulted in […]

Parking Lot Safety/Student Pick-Up and Drop-Off

Please note that, due to safety issues, parents/guardians are to use the lower lot furthest from the school (at the back of the school) or may arrange an alternative location off-property to drop off and pick up students. Please do not use the upper parking lots for drop-off/pick up.  The volume of cars attempting to […]

Opening Day is Here – Info for In-Person Grade 9 and 10 Students

The 2021 school year kicks off today as we welcome our grade 9 and 10 Highlanders!  Students should have received contacts from your period A teacher, with information about your course (room #, teacher, entrance location).  Printed timetables will be handed out in your period A class.  This will include ALL your courses for the 2021-2022 school year.

If teachers were unable to contact you and you aren’t sure of your period A class/location, please report to one of the three main student entrances and a staff member can assist with your period A information.  Students who are brand new to the WRDSB this year can also come to the side doors nearest Erbsville Road and a guidance staff member can assist with your timetable information.

Don’t forget to complete your COVID-19 screening prior to coming to school!

Check out the plans for grade 9/10 orientation on September 7th!
